The High Performance Compute (HPC) IT team maintains, extends and supports the scientific compute systems at the Berlin Institute of Health. The prime service offered by HPC-IT is the BIH cluster which was designed and optimized for processing human sequence data (WGS) for translational research. The system is currently used by 35+ groups and 200+ users mostly for various bionformatics data analysis but also for simulation, image analysis and machine learning.
